Description/Short Syllabus:

• Meander/Maze Books (30 minutes)
• Pamphlet Books (30 minutes)
• Japanese Stab Binding (30 minutes)
• Decorating (30 minutes) - optional

Students will receive:

• Three styles of books
• Instructions for each style
• Supply Ideas

*Under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Instructor Statement: For as long as she can remember, Chris has made things with her hands as a way to keep her head in a good place (research backs this up!), and as a creative outlet, and was delighted to find the joy of it carries into other areas of her life, too. A teacher by nature, she loves sharing accessible ways for you to surprise yourself with the creative magic you already possess.

Let your creativity flow in this open studio time. bring any type of project that you are currently working on or wish to begin; you might also meet new people and you will have an opportunity to learn about their creative projects and processes.

this is a free time open to everyone, the only criteria: you must be able to carry your project to and from the building and your project must not require ear protection or the use of flames, toxins, or flammable materials.
