Chatfield Center for the Arts

Description: Artists will learn how to create their own folder of paperwork that typically is required or useful when makingapplications to art organizations and galleries. Topics will include examples of what to include in an inventory database ofone’s completed artworks, planning schedules and tracking displayed artworks, differences in writing an artist statement,personal biography, and press releases. Other topics may include keeping necessary personal records of art sales transactions, past venue experiences, etc.

Attendees are requested to bring a food item for the local food shelf.

Rita LeDuc is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of  Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota legislature; and from a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts.
