Join instructor Liz Bucheit as we get your Irish on! Did you know that tin mined in Ireland made its way over trade routes throughout Scandinavia and was developed into the coiled pewter threadmade popular by the Sámi culture in the 16th century? Whether you are a beginner or want to expand your braiding techniques, try your hand at this Irish pattern inspired by the ornate page borders gracing the famous Book of Kells. Deep olive green reindeer hide complements this unique weave, complete with reindeer cordloop and antler button.*This is an advanced/intricate design however all levels of skill are welcome at this class.
The $95 student cost covers materials.
